Tony O’Connor’s brilliant music offers the listener a rare experience. His unique recordings can create a gentle, flowing atmosphere that is perfect for relaxation, while at the same time his talented use of sounds and instruments can be uplifting and an inspiration.
Tony lives, writes and records in the beautiful Obi Obi Valley in Queensland, Australia where his studio overlooks the rainforests of this truly magical country. He continuously writes and also composes for video and documentaries.
He began his career in 1987 with the release of his first album Journey. Since then, Tony’s wonderful collection of ‘Music For Relaxation’ has grown to include ‘Mirror Moon’, with all previous titles acclaimed around the world.
Although taking advantage of state-of-the-art recording processes, Tony maintains a very individual approach to the production of his music.
“I generally record as I write, because for me it is important that the very moment of inspiration is captured on each album. I also hope that this enables the listener to feel as if the music is being created each time it is played and every listening can then be a new experience.”
