Windjana: Spirit of the Kimberley is a magnificent musical escape to one of the Earth’s last remaining untouched wilderness areas.

Didgeridoo, acoustic guitar and soul-stirring orchestras combine to produce one of my most popular recordings.

For you, the wisdom keepers, true guardians of the Kimberley Spirit.

The Kimberley seems to be one of the last untouched wilderness areas on our planet. Even a brief trek across the magnificent plateaus of this unique area leaves you in awe and wonder at nature’s strength and beauty.

So many secrets are lost in and upon this ancient rock, yet enough is left written to bear witness to the unconquerable magic of nature. Even though our stay is but a second in the lifespan of the Kimberley, we know we must establish a path and continue into the future as custodians of its uniqueness.

After visiting the incredible Kimberleys, I couldn't help but be inspired to write something epic. As well as dramatic orchestral movements, I introduced a lot of acoustic guitar and flutes, trying to capture that vastness and strength. I think this album has some of my best arrangements, and many listeners have said this too. Windjana is a tribute to one of the Earth's last untouched wilderness areas.
